An aircraft's history and invoices
Everything done to one aircraft in one list, newest first: inspections signed off, squawks resolved and jobs completed. And every invoice for it, for the bookings that flew it and the shop's work on it.
For owners, admins, dispatchers and technicians
Open the aircraft, then History: every inspection signed off, squawk resolved and work order completed on it, newest first, each opening its own record. Invoices, beside it, lists every bill for the aircraft. Both work the same for your own aircraft and a customer's.
The history#
WebAircraft → the aircraft → History. One row per thing done to it:
| Row | Date | Signed or done by | Hobbs and tach |
|---|---|---|---|
| An inspection signed off | The compliance date | The mechanic who signed, with their certificate | As recorded at the sign-off |
| A squawk resolved | When it was resolved | Who resolved it | Not recorded on a squawk |
| A work order completed | When it was completed | The job's technicians | Out, or in when nobody recorded out |
Click a row to open the inspection, the squawk or the work order. Filter by kind with the filter button. The list pages like every table in AerScheduler, so a tail with twenty years of records is still quick to open.
A one-time inspection (a single AD compliance, say) leaves the Maintenance tab once it is signed off, because nothing is coming due any more. Its sign-off is kept for the life of the aircraft, so it is here.
Instructors, students and renters do not see the History tab. They see the open squawks on an aircraft of yours they can book.
Invoices#
WebAircraft → the aircraft → Invoices. Every bill tied to the aircraft: for the bookings that flew it (each payer's share of a split booking is its own invoice), and for the shop's work orders on it. Each row says who it is billed to, what it is for (the booking or the job's WO number), the amount and whether it is paid, outstanding, overdue, refunded or void. Click a column header to sort, and a row to open the invoice on Billing.
Only owners and admins see this tab, the same people who see Billing: it lists what your members and customers paid.
What the aircraft's owner sees#
An owner who has signed in sees a shorter history on their aircraft's page: the inspections signed off and the jobs the shop finished. Not squawks, not who on your side did the work, and nothing you keep to the shop. See See your aircraft and approve work.
Common questions
- Why is a one-time inspection in the history but not on the Maintenance tab?
- The Maintenance tab lists what is still coming due. A one-time inspection drops off it once signed off, but the sign-off is kept for the life of the aircraft and stays in its history.
- Why can't I see the Invoices tab?
- It lists what members and customers paid, so it is for owners and admins only, like the rest of Billing.
