Common questions
- Can I stop members booking themselves entirely?
- You do not have to use it, and the rules narrow it as far as you like: checkouts per tail, a saved card, a cap on upcoming bookings, a cap on length, and how far ahead each tier may go.
- Can a member cancel at the last minute?
- Only if you allow it. A cancel lock stops members changing a booking inside a window you set, while staff and instructors still can. With Stripe connected you can let them cancel inside the window if they accept a fee, billed before the slot is released.
- Can members book repeating lessons?
- Yes, and each date is a real separate booking so it can be ramped and invoiced on its own. If any one date conflicts, none are booked.
- What stops somebody with an unpaid balance from booking?
- On the account ledger you can set a minimum credit to self-book and a maximum they may owe, and check both again at ramp-out. Staff booking on someone's behalf skip the check.
