Members pick an aircraft, an instructor when they need one, and a time. Only genuinely free times are offered.
Your rules hold with nobody enforcing them
Checkouts, currency, tier booking windows, a card on file, an account balance. Each refusal names its reason.
Cancellations turn back into flying hours
A freed slot reaches everyone who asked for it at once, and the first to book it from the notification or Home gets it.

Cancelled lessons offered to the students who asked for them
Members press Notify me on the time they could not get, or stand by for a booking or for the days they fly. When it cancels, everyone who asked is told at once, nothing is held, and the first to tap Book it gets it. If you turn it on, a slot nobody asked for is also suggested to the few members whose flying fits it best.
- Nothing is held while people decide, so the aircraft and instructor stay bookable
- Flights cancelled for weather or maintenance are not offered out automatically

Turn on the rules you run and leave the rest off. Nothing is enforced that you did not ask for.
Common questions
- Can I stop members booking themselves entirely?
- You do not have to use it, and the rules narrow it as far as you like: checkouts per tail, a saved card, a cap on upcoming bookings, a cap on length, and how far ahead each tier may go.
- What happens to the slot when a student cancels?
- Everyone who asked for that time is told at once, and the first to book it gets it. Nothing is held while they decide. If nobody asked and you have suggestions turned on, it is listed for up to three members who fly that aircraft or instructor. Nobody is booked until they tap Book it, and members whose bookings need approval send a request instead.
- Can a member cancel at the last minute?
- Only if you allow it. A cancel lock stops members changing a booking inside a window you set, while staff and instructors still can. With Stripe connected you can let them cancel inside the window if they accept a fee, billed before the slot is released.
- Can members book repeating lessons?
- Yes, and each date is a real separate booking so it can be ramped and invoiced on its own. If any one date conflicts, none are booked.
- What stops somebody with an unpaid balance from booking?
- On the account ledger you can set a minimum credit to self-book and a maximum they may owe, and check both again at ramp-out. Staff booking on someone's behalf skip the check.
