Common questions
- How is this different from training records?
- This page is rates, pairing and availability: what scheduling and billing read. Training records is the syllabus, the lessons, the hours and the endorsements. They are separate because a club with no syllabus still needs instruction rates.
- Can each instructor bill a different rate?
- Rates are per rating rather than per instructor today, so every CFI teaching a rating bills the same figure. Schools needing a different number for one instructor use a booking-level price override.
- Does availability stop the front desk booking somebody?
- Availability is what self-booking offers. The desk can still book outside it, which is what you want when an instructor has agreed to come in.
