Common questions
- Can currency checks be turned off?
- No, and that is deliberate. Every other booking rule is off by default and optional. Currency is always on, because a scheduling system that will dispatch a pilot with a lapsed medical is worse than no scheduling system.
- Can I add currencies specific to my school?
- Yes. Alongside medicals, flight reviews and checkouts you can define your own types with their own renewal periods.
- What if the student is current but the instructor is not?
- Both are checked, and the refusal tells you which person is the problem.
- Can I stop one person flying without deleting them?
- Ground the member. They stay on the roster with their history intact and cannot be put on a booking until you lift it.
