Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your AerScheduler account and what happens to your information afterwards. You can request deletion here whether or not you still have the app installed.

Delete your account from the app

The fastest route, if you can still sign in:

1. Open AerScheduler on your phone, or sign in at app.aerscheduler.com.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose Delete Account and confirm.

The account closes straight away. You do not need to contact us as well.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, no longer have the app, or would rather we handled it, email support@aerscheduler.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. Say which flight school you belong to if you can, since it helps us find the right record.

We reply within five business days. We may ask you to confirm from the account email address before we act, so that nobody else can close your account.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted we immediately erase:

• your password and PIN
• your device tokens, so the app stops receiving notifications
• any pending invitations and requests to join a school

The account is then marked closed and can no longer be used to sign in.

What is kept, and why

Some information stays behind. A flight school is a shared record, and removing one person entirely would damage records that belong to other people and to the school itself.

• Your name and email, in a closed state. This keeps historical records intelligible, so it is still clear who dispatched an aircraft or who signed off a lesson.
• Audit records. These are append-only and kept for the life of the school's account. They refer to people by internal identifier rather than by name, so a name can be removed without breaking the log.
• Financial records. Invoices and payment history are kept for at least seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations, even after an account closes.
• Backups. Database backups run on a rolling seven day window. Deleted data can persist in a backup until it ages out and is overwritten.

Deleting a whole flight school

Deleting your own account does not close your school. If you are an owner and want to remove the entire organization and its records, follow delete your school instead, or email us and we will help.
