See what's new in AerScheduler

New features show up as a What's new card in the console's left rail and on Home in the app, chosen for your roles. Open it for the whole story, or close it and it stays closed on every device.

For owners, admins, dispatchers, instructors, students, renters and technicians

When AerScheduler adds something that matters to you, a What's new card appears in the bottom-left corner of the console and on AppHome in the app. Open it for the whole story. Every update you can see is also listed under Webyour organization's name → What's new and AppMenu → What's new.

A blue dot marks new updates you have not opened yet. Older ones are listed without a dot.

Read an update#

Click or tap the card. The update opens with a picture, what changed and how to use it. The button at the bottom takes you straight to the screen it is about, and Read the guide opens the help article on aerscheduler.com. In the console, the arrow on the card opens that article directly.

Hide the card#

Press the × on the card. Opening the update, or reading its guide, hides the card too. Either way it stays hidden on every device you sign in on, so closing it in the console also clears it from your phone. The update itself stays in the What's new list.

Why you see some updates and not others#

  • Updates are written for roles. Owners and admins see changes to billing and settings, students and renters see changes to booking, technicians see maintenance. If you hold different roles in another organization, you see what fits the one you are signed in to.
  • One card at a time. When several are waiting, the newest shows first, with the edge of the next one peeking out underneath in the console. The next appears on a later visit, never the moment you close one.
  • A card shows for 30 days. After that the update is only in the list, without a dot. If you have been away a while, you get the recent ones one at a time and the rest are waiting in the list.
  • New accounts start clean. Anything that shipped before you joined is in the list but not marked new, and never gets a card.

Every update, for every role#

The changelog lists every update we have published, newest first, including the ones written for roles you do not hold. All updates on aerscheduler.com at the bottom of the What's new list opens it.
