Fly at more than one school
One login can belong to several organizations. The switcher changes everything on screen, including which roles you hold.
For instructors, students and renters
Click your school's name and logo at the top of the left rail and pick the other one. In the iOS app it is AppSettings → Switch organization. One login, as many schools as you like, each with its own roles and its own data.
How one account holds two schools#
Your account is global. Your membership of a school is what holds your roles, your identifier, your membership plan and your notification preferences. Join a second school and you get a second membership: two sets of roles, two rosters, two sets of switches.
Nothing is shared between schools. Not aircraft, not people, not bookings, not invoices.
Switch#
Click the organization name and logo at the top of the left rail
With only one school it is a label, not a dropdown. It becomes a dropdown the moment you belong to two.
Pick the other school
You land on that school's home page: the Dashboard if you are staff there, your own home page otherwise.
What changes when you switch#
- Your roles. You can be an instructor at one school and a renter at the next, so buttons appear and disappear.
- Everything on screen: schedule, roster, fleet, invoices, reports.
- Your notification preferences, which are set per school.
- The order of your navigation rail, your pinned pages and your Recent list, which are all remembered separately per school.
In the iOS app#
The switcher is under AppSettings → Switch organization, not in the navigation menu. That is the first place people look and the one place it is not.
Joining the second school#
Exactly like the first: get its code, then join with a code. If you are already signed in, go straight to app.aerscheduler.com/join.
Leaving one#
AppSettings → Leave organization in the iOS app. You cannot leave a school where you are the only owner, or the only admin. Your flight and billing history stays with the school.
