The Boeing Company Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all The Boeing Company Model 757-300 series airplanes. This AD was prompted by a crack growth analysis that indicated that existing maintenance planning data (MPD) and supplemental structural inspection program (SSIP) tasks do not provide adequate inspection opportunities to detect cracks in the upper frames around the uppermost fastener common to the fail-safe chord at the fuselage frame splices. This AD requires an inspection or maintenance record check for existing repairs, repetitive inspections of the upper frames around the uppermost fastener common to the fail-safe chord at the fuselage frame splices for any cracks, and applicable on-condition actions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Airbus SAS Airplanes
The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2021-03- 08, which applied to certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. AD 2021-03-08 required repetitive inspections for migration of the bushings of the horizontal tail plane (HTP) lateral load fittings (LLFs) on the left- and right-hand sides and terminating repair or modification of any affected bushing. Since the FAA issued AD 2021-03-08, new occurrences of bushing migration on HTP LLFs were reported, and a determination was made that certain repairs can no longer be considered terminating action to the repetitive inspections. This AD continues to require the actions in AD 2021-03-08, removes a certain terminating action, and expands the applicability. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

The Boeing Company Airplanes
The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2019-20- 07, which applied to The Boeing Company Model 787-8, 787-9, and 787-10 airplanes. AD 2019-20-07 required repetitive operational checks of the leading edge (LE) outboard (OB) slats and applicable on-condition actions. AD 2019-20-07 also required revising the airplane flight manual (AFM) to prohibit flap retraction under icing conditions after landing and revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate a new operation check. This AD was prompted by the manufacturer developing further actions to address the unsafe condition. This AD continues to require all requirements of AD 2019-20- 07. This AD would also require replacing the LE outboard geared rotary actuator (GRA) with a LE outboard lockout actuator (LEOLA) at leading edge OB slat locations and revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate a new certification maintenance requirement (CMR), which terminates the retained requirements of AD 2019-20-07. This AD also removes airplanes from the applicability. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Elixir Aircraft
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Elixir Aircraft Model Elixir airplanes. This AD was prompted by a fatal accident on a Model Elixir airplane during a production flight. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. This AD prohibits operation until approved inspection or modification procedures are identified, accomplished, and incorporated. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Bombardier, Inc., Airplanes
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-2A12 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of low clearance in the right wing between the fuel line flexible coupling and the harness support bracket clip-nut, between the fuel line flexible coupling and hydraulic system, and between the hydraulic system and fuel vent tube. This AD requires rectifying the low clearance condition between the fuel line flexible coupling and the harness support bracket clip-nut, rectifying the low clearance condition between the fuel line flexible coupling and the hydraulic system, and doing an inspection for adequate clearance between the hydraulic system and the fuel vent tube and applicable on-conditions actions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Airbus Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B, AS350BA, AS350B1, AS350B2, AS350B3, AS350D, AS355E, AS355F, AS355F1, AS355F2, AS355N, AS355NP, EC120B, and EC130B4 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a determination that the instructions on how to open the sliding door emergency exit on affected helicopters are insufficient. This AD requires installing additional safety labels or replacing existing safety labels, as applicable. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Leonardo S.p.a. Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AB139 and AW139 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of a nozzle exhaust duct clamp separating from the engine nozzle duct and coming to rest on the tail rotor (TR) drive shaft. This AD requires repetitively inspecting certain clamp assemblies and, depending on the results of the inspection, replacing parts. This AD also prohibits the installation of an affected clamp assembly, unless certain requirements are met. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

Airbus Helicopters
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus Helicopters Model AS355E, AS355F, AS355F1, AS355F2, and AS355N helicopters. This AD was prompted by the determination that the tail rotor drive fan wheels (fan wheels) and the impeller second stage have been incorrectly identified during production. This AD requires verifying the serial number and amendment of the log cards of the affected parts, and depending on the findings, performing a one-time borescope inspection to verify consistency between the log cards and the affected parts. Depending on the results of the inspection, this AD requires replacing or re-identifying certain parts. This AD also prohibits the installation of certain fan wheels and impeller second stages on any helicopter. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe conditions on these products.
