Airworthiness Directive · Amendment 39-9376 · BAE Systems (Operations) Limited Airplanes
BAE Systems (Operations) Limited Airplanes
This AD applies to BAE Systems (Operations) Limited ATP.
The models as the FAA's AD index lists them. The serial ranges, installed parts and exceptions are in the AD itself: read it at the FAA.
This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Jetstream Model ATP airplanes, that requires modification of certain doors. This amendment is prompted by a report that an operator was unable to unlock a Type I passenger door due to migration of a shootbolt bush. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent such migration, which could jam the Type I passenger door, and subsequently could delay or impede the evacuation of passengers during an emergency.
