Airworthiness Directive · Amendment 39-8925 · Textron Aviation Inc. Airplanes
Textron Aviation Inc. Airplanes
This AD applies to Textron Aviation Inc. 400A, 400T.
The models as the FAA's AD index lists them. The serial ranges, installed parts and exceptions are in the AD itself: read it at the FAA.
This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Beech Model 400A and 400T airplanes, that requires inspection to detect damage of the wire harness in the wheel well of the main landing gear (MLG), and modification, if necessary. This amendment is prompted by reports of damage to wire harnesses due to abrasion. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent loss of control of the fuel supply to the engine or loss of control of the retraction/extension system for the MLG and MLG door.
The aircraft, engines and makers this AD names, by the model designations in its text. A model listed here may still be outside the AD's serial ranges.
