Airworthiness Directive · Amendment 39-8846 · BAE Systems (Operations) Limited Airplanes
BAE Systems (Operations) Limited Airplanes
This AD applies to BAE Systems (Operations) Limited BAe 146-100A, BAe 146-200A, BAe 146-300A.
The models as the FAA's AD index lists them. The serial ranges, installed parts and exceptions are in the AD itself: read it at the FAA.
This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain British Aerospace Model BAe 146-100A, -200A, and -300A series airplanes, that requires modification of the electrical power supply system. This amendment is prompted by a report that a single phase fault current can cause sequential failure of all onboard main electrical generators. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent such failures and subsequent loss of electrical power sources onboard the airplane.
