The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Model DHC-8-401 and - 402 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of an in-flight event where isolation valve caution messages were received. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

(1) Where Transport Canada AD CF-2024-01 refers to its effective date, this AD requires using the effective date of this AD.
(2) Where Transport Canada AD CF-2024-01 refers to hours air time, this AD requires using flight hours.
