Airworthiness Directive · Amendment 39-15023 · Landing gear
British Aerospace Regional Aircraft Models HP.137 Jetstream Mk.1, Jetstream Series 200, Jetstream Series 3101, and Jetstream Model 3201 Airplanes
Superseded. A later AD replaced this one: AD 2018-02-15. Comply with the one in force.
This AD applies to Models HP.137 Jetstream Mk.1, Jetstream Series 200, Jetstream Series 3101, and Jetstream Model 3201 airplanes, all serial numbers, certificated in any category.
We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) issued by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product. The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as:
Unless already done, within 60 days after May 18, 2007 (the effective date of this AD), comply with the requirements given in BAE Systems British Aerospace Jetstream Series 3100 and 3200 Service Bulletin 32-JA981042 Rev 5, dated November 1, 2005.
Note 1: The compliance times of this AD are presented in cycles (landings) since new (CSN). If you do not keep the total CSN, then you may multiply the total number of airplane hours time-in-service by 0.75.
Note 2: This AD differs from the MCAI and/or service information as follows: We allow a different method for calculating the CSN of a component listed in this AD.
The aircraft, engines and makers this AD names, by the model designations in its text. A model listed here may still be outside the AD's serial ranges.
