Airworthiness Directive · Amendment 39-13605 · Dornier Model 328-100 and -300 Series Airplanes
Dornier Model 328-100 and -300 Series Airplanes
Superseded. A later AD replaced this one: AD 2009-18-14. Comply with the one in force.
All Model 328-100 and -300 series airplanes, certificated in any category.
This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to all Dornier Model 328-100 and -300 series airplanes, that requires repetitive inspections of the bearing lugs of the rudder spring tab lever assembly for cracking, and corrective action if necessary. This action is necessary to prevent failure of the rudder flight control system due to such cracking, which could result in loss of rudder control and consequent reduced controllability of the airplane. This action is intended to address the identified unsafe condition.
The aircraft, engines and makers this AD names, by the model designations in its text. A model listed here may still be outside the AD's serial ranges.
